Terms

These terms are the agreement between you and sendingsnags when you use the app. sendingsnags is currently an invite-only beta.

Last updated 24 August 2026.

Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and Fixtures and Finishes Ltd, trading as sendingsnags. The company is registered in England and Wales, company number 17415644, and its registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.

What sendingsnags is

sendingsnags helps you, a UK new-build buyer, turn your own walkthrough of your home into a snag report you can send to your developer or housing provider. You complete a guided walkthrough, record the snags and photos, and the app builds what you record into a clear report with follow-up tools and guidance.

The report is built from what you record. We do not visit your property and we do not inspect anything ourselves.

The beta

sendingsnags is currently an invite-only beta, so you need an invite code to create an account. During the beta the service is free to use, so no payment terms apply. If we introduce paid plans, we will update these terms and tell you before anything is charged.

A beta period also means the service is still changing: features may be added, changed or removed while we work to improve the app.

What the report is, and is not

Your report is a structured record of your own walkthrough. It is not a professional survey, valuation or inspection, and it is not legal advice.

Whether and how the entity you report to responds is between you and them. Which rules apply to your home, and what redress you have if they do not put things right, depends on how you bought it; the sending guide explains the route for your home and how to check it.

The app can suggest wording or a severity grade using AI. These are suggestions only: you enter the values, and you decide what the final report says.

Your content

Everything you record stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it so we can run the service for you: build your report, keep its version history, and show your tracker and timeline. We do not use your content for anything else.

You are responsible for what you record. Record honestly: the report's value rests on it being an accurate record of what you saw.

Using the service fairly

Use the service for your own property purchase, keep your sign-in link and invite code to yourself, and do not use the app for anything unlawful or to mislead anyone.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights you have under UK consumer law, and nothing excludes liability we cannot lawfully exclude.

We are not responsible for the outcome of your dealings with the entity you report to, for decisions you make based on the report, or for losses that do not come from our own failure to run the service properly.

Ending things

You can stop using the service at any time, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the account screen. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so export your data first if you want a copy. The privacy notice explains deletion in full.

We may end or change the beta itself. If we do, we will give you notice and time to export your data first.

Changes and the legal bits

If we change these terms, we will update this page, change the date at the top, and flag material changes in the app.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
